Retail Account Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist Senior Retail Account Managers with daily account management tasks across various client accounts.

• Ensure accurate documentation of accounts, program details, and updates on project statuses.

• Facilitate coordination between clients, internal teams, and retailer representatives.

• Aid in the execution of client initiatives and special projects.

• Create and maintain new items in Walmart's systems.

• Support item maintenance, which includes product details, pricing, and attributes.

• Help with vendor onboarding and supplier setup procedures.

• Track retailer requirements and assist in executing account initiatives.

• Keep records of Walmart retailer setup and account modifications.

• Optimize product detail pages on Walmart.com.

• Update product descriptions, images, and item characteristics.

• Assist in digital shelf initiatives and eCommerce operations.

• Manage sample requests and coordinate deliveries with vendors and retailers.

• Maintain comprehensive records for vendor setups, product details, pricing, order statuses, planning challenges, and program specifics.

• Help with reporting, data organization, and operational monitoring.

• Support ad hoc projects and account initiatives.

• Identify issues and escalate them as needed.

• Collaborate with account management, sales, supply chain, and other internal teams to meet client goals.

• Organize stakeholder updates and information for account execution.

• Learn Walmart's systems, processes, and retail best practices.

• Contribute to a team environment that is collaborative and focused on client needs.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is preferred; degrees in Supply Chain, Retail, or Business are desirable.

• Experience in retail, business, or account management is preferred.

• Interest in account management, retail operations, supply chain, or consumer products.

• Internships or early-career experiences in retail, operations, or client-facing roles are a plus.

• Preference for candidates with experience working with Walmart on the retailer or supplier side.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• Comfort in gathering, organizing, and maintaining information across various projects.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.

• Familiarity with Walmart's item management and inventory systems is preferred.

• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with teams.
