Resource Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and execution of weekly resource planning procedures across a worldwide team.

• Centralize, forecast, organize, and allocate resource requests from the production team.

• Identify skill sets and optimize availability and utilization for in-house CGI artists, retouchers, finishing artists, photographers, video editors, and animators.

• Schedule studio resource requests from producers well in advance.

• Confirm studio resource bookings with discipline leads on a weekly basis ahead of time.

• Collaborate with the Resource Manager to pinpoint risks before they affect delivery.

• Forecast, source, onboard, and reserve freelance resources to accommodate changing demand.

• Provide precise, timely, and pertinent resource reports to business and studio leadership.

• Track timesheets, holidays, and absences utilizing existing Marks platforms.

• Manage and cultivate strong freelance relationships and a freelance network.

• Develop and sustain relationships with creative and production disciplines.

• Prioritize resource conflicts and escalate proposed solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in cloud-based tools such as Excel, Keynote, Outlook, Mac, Flow, Crew Planning, and Workfront.

• Experience in a CGI-centered studio environment (preferred).

• Interest or familiarity with resource management tools and systems (nice to have).

• Proven experience in a fast-paced creative setting.

• Capability to work efficiently and independently in a multi-discipline production studio.

• Strong skills in resource planning, reporting, monitoring, freelance networking, relationship management, and problem-solving.
