This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise a team of field engineers and manage the distribution of field resources.

• Ensure that required personnel, tools, and equipment are available to fulfill project needs.

• Align resources with project schedules, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks.

• Monitor resource utilization and project future resource requirements.

• Implement improvements in processes to boost productivity and quality.

• Collaborate with Resource Managers, Service Delivery Managers, and Technical Project Managers for effective resource allocation.

• Proactively assign resources and ensure balanced resource distribution.

• Resolve resource conflicts by consulting the Service Delivery Manager for resolution.

• Optimize personnel billability while accommodating schedule adjustments and downtime.

• Conduct weekly reviews of resource requirements, hiring needs, and personnel challenges.

• Maintain precise resource planning tools.

• Act as the personnel manager for assigned team members.

• Hold weekly one-on-one meetings.

• Approve and oversee PTO, personal days, sick leave, and compensated time off.

• Conduct annual performance evaluations.

• Address personnel matters and manpower issues with Technical Project Managers.

• Coordinate holiday schedules to guarantee adequate coverage.

• Oversee the setup and onboarding process for new hires.

• Manage training requirements and ensure personnel have the necessary qualifications, certifications, and professional licenses.

• Approve weekly timecards and review expenses for compliance with policies and accurate project allocation.

• Ensure timely and accurate submission of timecards and expense reports.


⛳️ Requirements

• Understanding of industry trends, project management, and construction practices and principles.

• Familiarity with business and management concepts related to strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and coordination of personnel and resources.

• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in constructing mission-critical commercial buildings or other structures.

• Proficient in completing tasks accurately with attention to detail.

• Skilled in managing both personnel and material resources.

• Ability to utilize AI and emerging technologies to enhance workflows, optimize operational processes, and contribute to overall company innovation.

• Capability to thrive in a remote work environment through effective communication, organizational skills, self-motivation, proactiveness, and resourcefulness in a distraction-free setting.

• Ability to learn and adapt to client and/or industry-specific management software.

• Ability to adhere to company and site safety regulations.

• Proficient in analyzing and preparing documents, reports, and correspondence.

• Effective communication skills in both oral and written formats for technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to communicate directly with clients and occasionally act as the primary point of contact.

• Capability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently with moderate supervision.

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with both onsite and remote team members.

• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Effective at planning and delegating tasks to others.

• Ability to analyze complex information and develop strategic plans to address identified issues.

• Proficient in the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) with exceptional organizational skills for file management.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or a related field OR two years of experience in installation, hands-on testing, validation, and troubleshooting of mechanical, controls, and/or electrical infrastructure, along with a minimum of five additional years of experience in those areas.

• At least three years of experience in people/resource management.

• Must be located near a major airport.

• Valid REAL ID or an acceptable alternative, such as a passport, required for domestic air travel.
