Residential Solar Incentives Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Accurately review and process applications for state and federal solar incentives in a timely manner.

• Ensure adherence to the rules and requirements of solar incentive programs.

• Provide constructive feedback and actionable items to leadership and both internal and external stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain a tracking system for solar incentive and project performance metrics.

• Generate periodic reports regarding the status of incentive applications.

• Monitor and assess incentive revenue against projected figures.

• Investigate any discrepancies and implement necessary process improvements.

• Become knowledgeable in state and federal incentive programs.

• Review program documentation to ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations.

• Research new incentive programs to facilitate business growth.

• Work in collaboration with Finance and Accounting to monitor incentive transactions.

• Partner with Operations and IT to incorporate incentive requirements into project workflows.

• Develop and update user guides, job aids, and training materials.

• Review and audit completed tasks, make corrections as needed, and communicate status updates to management.

• Achieve accuracy, meet Service Level Agreements, and fulfill team and financial objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in Business Administration, IT, Operations, Economics, or other relevant fields.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.

• Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities, including modeling, VLOOKUPs, nested If-Then statements, and Boolean logic.

• Strong skills in MS Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and SharePoint.

• Skilled in SQL, capable of writing queries and manipulating data effectively.

• Ability to become proficient with web-based applications and business tools.

• Outstanding organizational abilities and basic document management skills.

• Technologically adept with a keen attention to detail.

• Quick learner capable of adapting to changes in processes and technology.

• Ability to adjust, develop, and excel during uncertain times.

• Experience in Solar Energy is advantageous.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis.
