Resident Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Engage in customer technical projects that involve implementation, configuration troubleshooting, best practices, MVP solution development, and long-term solutions tailored to customer-specific needs.

• Provide consultation on architecture and design.

• Ensure that strategic dbt Platform customers successfully adopt the product.

• Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architects, Training, and Support teams.

• Offer feedback to product and engineering teams to enhance and prioritize customer requests while swiftly resolving engagement-specific issues.

• Become an expert in the dbt product within the modern data stack.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be physically located in the United States.

• Extensive experience working with enterprise customers across diverse use cases, preferably in a customer-facing post-sales, technical architect, or consulting role.

• In-depth expertise in at least one data platform: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with dbt, ideally including at least 1 year with the dbt platform.

• Proficient in writing SQL.

• Some experience with Python.

• Willingness to develop technical skills related to the deployment and integration of dbt platform solutions.

• Highly organized and adept at managing technical project delivery, encompassing scope, timelines, and deliverables across multiple engagements.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational issues.

• Capacity to excel in a remote organization that values transparency and cross-collaboration.

• Approximately 10% travel anticipated, including occasional customer visits, company retreats, and offsite events.

• dbt Analytics Engineering Certification, experience with traditional enterprise ETL tools, and the ability to provide guidance on dbt Platform recommendations are desirable but not mandatory.
