Resident Field Technician I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment within a specified territory or region.

• Address customer concerns and issues by resolving them directly or escalating them to the supervisor, territory manager, or Control Tower.

• Keep parts stored at home, manage the receipt and shipment of materials, and maintain an up-to-date inventory.

• Solve customer problems or incidents to meet their satisfaction or according to established service levels.

• Work on low-complexity products and services, particularly financial products and ATMs.

• Conduct minor repairs and replace components in Level I equipment, including PCs, workstations, peripherals, printers, and front-end POS systems.

• Carry out first-line maintenance on ATMs and kiosks.

• Assist with site preparations, including cable installation, equipment setup, and basic testing.

• Execute modular swaps and unit replacements as required.

• Build strong working relationships with customers and establish informal communication channels at the local level.

• Represent NCR in a positive manner.

• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on assigned products.

• Diagnose issues, perform minor repairs, and replace components at the module level.

• Adhere to appropriate safety protocols when working with ATMs and inside financial institutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical high school diploma.

• Registration with the CFT (Federal Council of Industrial Technicians).

• Valid driver's license, Category B or higher.

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (two doses).

• 0–1 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Familiarity with Windows operating systems.

• Experience in PC hardware maintenance and support.

• A+ ITE certification or a diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to learn new skills quickly.

• Successful completion of the screening criteria relevant to the position.
