Herd Test Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Transport and set up Herd Testing equipment in dairy facilities across the region utilizing LIC vehicles.

• Return the following day to gather completed samples and retrieve equipment.

• Manage heavy equipment in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

• Provide coverage for absenteeism and seasonal fluctuations in the Waitaki region.

• Work on a casual basis until the end of the season in May 2026.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a clean full Class 1 driver's licence.

• Familiarity with milking sheds is preferred.

• A reasonable level of fitness and physical capability.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Self-driven, professional, and dependable.

• Outstanding time management skills.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Flexibility regarding working hours and locations within the Waitaki region.

• Tech-savvy with a proactive 'can-do' attitude.
