This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Assess and analyze AI-generated responses to life-sciences prompts for scientific validity, clarity, and relevance.

• Annotate and rank model outputs to assist in AI training and enhancement.

• Craft expert-level responses to scientific inquiries to serve as model training examples.

• Identify errors, misconceptions, or unclear outputs and provide corrective feedback.

• Design and develop realistic research-based tasks, including scenarios, prompts, supporting documents, and detailed grading rubrics.

• Execute tasks with AI models and iterate based on feedback from expert reviewers.

• Adhere to detailed written directives, including formatting requirements for documents and uploads.

• Ensure consistent quality and productivity throughout the duration of the sprint engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD (or current PhD candidate) in Biology or a closely related field.

• Over 3 years of practical experience in drug discovery, computational biology/bioinformatics, or experimental biology.

• Excellent written communication skills; capable of articulating complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

• Ability to work independently in a remote, self-directed environment.

• Quick adaptability to unfamiliar tasks when provided with written materials or instructions.

• Currently or recently engaged in this work at a detailed, individual contributor level, rather than solely in a managerial role.

• Attentive reading of written instructions and open to feedback and revision cycles.

• Proficient in navigating a company data package ranging from 100MB to over 30GB and quickly developing an accurate, comprehensive understanding, even when the science lies outside the candidate’s specialty.

• Basic technological literacy, including familiarity with cloud file tools like Google Workspace, browser profile management, desktop application installation, and routine file handling.

• Available to commit 30–40+ hours per week for the complete 12-week engagement.

• General familiarity with LLM usage and the AI landscape.

• Professional experience using LLMs such as ChatGPT or Claude in life sciences.

• Ability to discern well-reasoned responses from plausible but incorrect answers.
