Research Scientist, Health Economic Modeling

📋 Description

• You will work alongside a highly specialized team of health economists, statisticians, and researchers on methodologically innovative projects for our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.

• You will engage in a variety of projects, including cost-effectiveness analyses and budget impact analyses to support HTA submissions and payer decisions, early economic analyses, treatment sequencing analyses, and generalized cost-effectiveness analyses that incorporate novel value elements.

• You will assist in the creation of client-ready study deliverables such as model protocols, economic models, slide presentations, technical reports, and peer-reviewed publications, guided by senior team members.

• You will demonstrate attention to detail by performing quality checks on your own work as well as that of your colleagues.

• You will be responsible for conducting analyses, interpreting the results, and effectively communicating your findings.


⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years of professional experience, preferably in consulting for pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare clients, with a focus on HEOR.

• A Master’s degree in a field related to health services research, such as health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or a scientific discipline (biology, biochemistry, etc.).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).

• A willingness and eagerness to learn and share knowledge.

• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.

• Highly developed analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.

• An ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team.
