This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Assist the Principal Investigator and research assistant with tasks related to grants.
β’ Identify and fulfill tasks that contribute to the project's success under the supervision of the PI.
β’ Work collaboratively with the PI and team members to determine tasks and devise operational strategies.
β’ Transcribe and code both qualitative and quantitative data.
β’ Conduct basic statistical analyses.
β’ Contribute intellectually to the processes and outcomes of the project.
β’ Support literature reviews for research and documents intended for publication.
β’ Complete necessary documentation and paperwork.
β’ Execute project tasks, including coding surveys and interviews, transcription, editing, analysis, and storage of participant data.
β’ Utilize LLMs to create automated tools for coding narratives.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned.
β’ Bachelor's degree preferred in cognitive science, psychology, biology, or similar fields.
β’ Preferred experience with methods in experimental psychology and mixed methodological research approaches, though not required.
β’ Experience in a technology-driven environment is preferred.
β’ Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative data analysis using NVivo, SPSS, or similar software.
β’ Skill in employing LLMs for complex research and analytical tasks.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
β’ Critical thinking and decision-making capabilities.
β’ Excellent organizational and communication skills.
β’ Ability to deliver timely and accurate information on academically relevant topics to both internal and external stakeholders.
β’ Preferred experience in healthcare settings.
β’ Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a diverse team in fast-paced environments with multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
β’ Intermediate computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
β’ Experience with Student Information Systems such as SOAR/PeopleSoft.
β’ Must be an enrolled and attending student; eligible undergraduate or graduate students may work full-time or part-time.
β’ Must not exceed 1,000 hours of work per year in the student employee position.
