This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Assist in the execution of research initiatives.
• Gather and arrange data following study-specific protocols, such as community outreach, data collection, sample gathering, laboratory tasks, and/or fieldwork.
• Offer administrative assistance for meetings, events, communications, and reporting.
• Collaborate with the Lipitz Center team on health services research projects and health policy efforts.
• Aid in the formulation of operational plans to achieve research objectives.
• Establish tools and procedures for data collection and study operations.
• Collect and organize data through participant interviews, questionnaires, background research, and laboratory processing.
• Process data by organizing data records and study documentation.
• Conduct basic analyses and compile routine reports.
• Execute literature searches, abstract data, and index the collected information.
• Facilitate qualitative data collection and analysis for health services research.
• Gather Medicaid policies, assist in data cleaning and dataset verification, and perform literature reviews of Medicaid HCBS policies.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent graduation credential.
• One year of relevant experience.
• Additional education may be considered as a substitute for the required experience under the JHU equivalency formula.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline is preferred.
• Familiarity with administrative tasks.
• Understanding of analytical skills.
• Knowledge of data entry practices.
• Awareness of data management and analysis techniques.
• Competence in information gathering.
• Proficiency in interpersonal skills.
• Effective oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Research and analytical skill awareness.
• Candidates selected for the position will undergo a pre-employment background check.
