Research Nurse – Per Diem

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the trial protocol, Case Report Forms (CRFs/eCRF), off-site manual, supporting documents, procedures, timelines, and pertinent SOPs.

• Engage in communication with the Illingworth research nurse project manager, research nurse manager, site personnel, and Principal Investigator.

• Ensure accurate documentation and electronic data transfer while safeguarding subject confidentiality, adhering to GCP compliance, and maintaining data protection.

• Attend Site Initiation Visits and participate in other essential meetings.

• Coordinate and execute on-site and off-site subject trial visits alongside the RN team.

• Conduct trial procedures and assessments in accordance with the protocol and SOPs, while accurately collecting data.

• Administer trial medications and oversee their secure storage, transfer, and accountability.

• Process, safely package, and send samples, maintaining communication with courier companies and organizations.

• Identify potentially eligible patients and assist in recruiting them for clinical trials.

• Offer information and support to patients receiving care both on-site and off-site.

• Accurately document adverse events, serious adverse events, and suspected unexpected serious adverse reactions.

• Provide necessary follow-up for reported events.

• Report any suspected misconduct or fraud to Illingworth and related entities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a registered nurse with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.

• Preferred candidates will have research and clinical trials experience, along with GCP certification.

• Familiarity with research design and methodology is desirable.

• Experience and knowledge of clinical nursing skills such as Venepuncture and ECG are preferable.

• Capability to work independently with initiative within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Strong ability to prioritize and manage several tasks simultaneously.

• Proficient in computer software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as a minimum requirement.

• Must reside in Ogden, Utah / USA-UT-Remote.
