Research Nurse – Per Diem

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the trial protocol, Case Report Forms (CRFs/eCRF), off-site manual, supporting documents, procedures, timelines, and relevant SOPs.

• Engage in communication with the Illingworth research nurse project manager, Research nurse manager, site personnel, and Principal Investigator.

• Ensure precise documentation and electronic data transfers while upholding subject confidentiality, GCP, and data protection compliance.

• Participate in Site Initiation Visits and other necessary meetings.

• Organize and conduct subject trial visits both on-site and off-site with the RN team.

• Execute trial procedures and assessments in accordance with the protocol and SOPs, while gathering accurate data.

• Administer trial medication and manage safe storage, transfer, and accountability.

• Process, package, and send samples, coordinating with courier companies and organizations.

• Assist in identifying eligible patients and recruiting them, providing information and support for care both on-site and off-site.

• Document adverse events, serious adverse events, and SUSARs, and facilitate follow-up.

• Report any suspected misconduct or fraud.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a registered nurse with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.

• Experience in research and clinical trials with GCP certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with research design and methodology is desirable.

• Preferable experience and knowledge in clinical nursing skills such as Venepuncture and ECG.

• Capable of working independently with initiative as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Proficient in using computer software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at a minimum.
