This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Oversee the daily operations of clinical trials in alignment with trial protocols, case report forms, supporting documents, procedures, timelines, and SOPs.
• Interact with the research nurse project manager, research nurse manager, site personnel, and Principal Investigator.
• Ensure precise trial documentation and electronically transfer data while safeguarding subject confidentiality and complying with GCP and data protection regulations.
• Participate in Site Initiation Visits and other necessary meetings.
• Organize and conduct subject trial visits both on-site and off-site.
• Execute trial procedures and assessments in accordance with the protocol and SOPs, ensuring accurate data collection.
• Administer trial medication and manage its secure storage, transfer, and accountability.
• Process, package, and send samples while coordinating with courier services and organizations.
• Aid in identifying suitable patients and recruiting them into clinical trials.
• Provide information and support for patients receiving care both on-site and off-site.
• Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and SUSARs to the site team and RNPM, and assist with any necessary follow-up.
• Notify Illingworth and associated companies of any suspected misconduct or fraud.
• Registered nurse with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in research and clinical trials, along with GCP certification.
• Familiarity with research design and methodology is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in clinical nursing skills such as Venepuncture and ECG are advantageous.
• Capacity to work independently while taking initiative in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Competence in prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.
• Proficient working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as a minimum requirement.
• Must be eligible to work in Connecticut/USA-CT-Remote.
