📋 Description

• Offer research assistance to regional teams and field offices covering politics, economics, regulatory policies, international trade, strategic communications, and business intelligence.

• Create and refine client briefings, profiles, presentations, memos, research documents, and event handbooks.

• Help in generating country-specific news updates for clients.

• Track pertinent news items related to sector-specific advancements.

• Attend Indo-Pacific events at think tanks, universities, and other institutions, providing summaries to staff.

• Assist with logistical arrangements for events in Washington.

• Collaborate with the research team and the broader client services team as needed.

• Support data entry and various administrative tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent research, analytical, writing, and editing abilities.

• Capacity to communicate crucial insights regarding the political economy and business policy landscape.

• Familiarity with the AP Stylebook is advantageous.

• Proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and web browsing tools.

• Knowledge of and/or experience in South Asia, particularly India.

• Ideal candidates will possess specific knowledge in areas like finance, energy, information technology and electronics, transport and distribution, manufacturing, fast-moving consumer goods, agriculture, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or media.

• Professional-level English language proficiency is required.

• Graduate students and upperclassmen in undergraduate programs are encouraged to apply.
