Research and Program Analyst

📋 Description

• Assist the team dedicated to the Military Community Advocacy Directorate

• Utilize advanced knowledge of social science disciplines, research methodologies, and program evaluations

• Examine, assess, and evaluate policies, programs, and processes concerning domestic abuse and child abuse and neglect within the military

• Operate independently with minimal guidance to ensure the integrity of research activities and their relevance in a military setting

• Perform literature reviews and engage in various program evaluation tasks

• Formulate recommendations that guide program enhancements and modernization efforts

• Generate and contribute solutions to issues of moderate scope and complexity

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of directly relevant experience

• Proven experience in developing, executing, and assessing health promotion policies and programs

• Familiarity with program evaluation utilizing a systems advocacy approach

• Experience in conducting research in social science, public health, or workplace climate (e.g., program evaluations, climate surveys)

• Proficient in conducting literature reviews, evaluating research quality, and synthesizing findings and recommendations

• Understanding of both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies

• Capability to deliver clear verbal and written communications to diverse stakeholders in accordance with Department of War style guidelines

• Eligibility to obtain a security clearance is mandatory

• U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite

• Previous or current security clearance is preferred

• Experience in a military environment is advantageous

• Background in producing verbal and written communication materials for clients, including presentations and information papers, is preferred

• Proficiency in interpreting statistical data and presenting research findings to non-technical audiences is preferred

• Ability to manage tasks and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment is preferred
