Research Analyst – Equity Capital Markets

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Execute comprehensive due diligence on potential issuers, companies, vendors, partners, and counterparties, presenting findings in succinct, decision-ready formats.

• Conduct fundamental analysis and create commercial and financial models to assess product structures, pricing, allocation, deal economics, and profitability.

• Perform competitor and market research throughout the capital markets landscape, benchmarking products, platforms, and market participants to guide positioning and strategy.

• Draft internal committee memos, decision documents, and management presentations that distill complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.

• Monitor developments in the equity capital markets, including pipeline, follow-on and related equity offerings, and broader market conditions, proactively identifying risks and opportunities.

• Assist in the transaction and product lifecycle, owning workstreams from research to execution.

• Contribute to the development of tokenized equity capital markets products from inception to launch.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in equity capital markets (ECM) or investment banking at a bank, advisory firm, or similar institution.

• Strong grasp of equity capital markets and the mechanics of public and private capital raises, including IPOs and follow-on offerings.

• Proficient financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing polished, institutional-quality memos and presentations for senior stakeholders.

• Self-motivated individual who is comfortable with ambiguity, takes initiative, and establishes processes in the absence of existing frameworks.

• Keen attention to detail, sound commercial judgment, and ability to perform under deadline pressure.

• Knowledge of digital assets or tokenization, or a strong desire to develop expertise in transitioning equity capital markets to blockchain.
