Research Advisor – Human Frontier Collective

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-level consultancy and leadership on model behavior and domain-specific logic.

• Set benchmarks for professional integrity.

• Collaborate with Scale AI's product, research, delivery, and GTM teams to shape the technical roadmap.

• Create complex, small-scale tasks that transform expert intuition into rigorous, computable frameworks for cutting-edge model evaluation.

• Act as a subject matter expert for Scale AI and the Human Frontier Collective during sales cycles, executive meetings, and conferences.

• Contribute to technical documentation and strategic GTM resources.

• Work alongside Scale’s research team to co-author technical reports and research publications.

• Engage as a foundational member of the Human Frontier Collective.

• Collaborate with a worldwide network of academics and experts to promote responsible AI through adaptable research and training.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant industry experience with strong, top-tier domain expertise.

• Proven history of operating at the pinnacle of the field and utilizing deep knowledge in high-impact, real-world settings across finance, legal, medical, or related areas.

• Bachelor’s, master’s, PhD, MD/DO, or JD degree, combined with substantial clinical, legal, or financial practice experience.

• Demonstrated research experience.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Practical experience with AI tools and technologies.

• Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary AI applications.

• For finance candidates: IB/PE/VC/consulting C-Suite, VPs, or Directors from Bulge Bracket or Elite Boutiques; or Senior Managers, Senior Associates, or Senior Analysts from top-tier firms.

• For legal candidates: Partners or Senior Counsel at V100 firms; former SCOTUS/Federal Clerks; or Senior Associates from Big Law with active bar membership.

• For medical candidates: Board-certified MDs from leading academic hospitals, or practicing physicians with a minimum of 5 years of post-residency experience from top hospitals.

• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a passion for applied AI research.
