Research Admin Specialist II – Coverage Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Huron’s Research Office team to create coverage analysis reports, study budgets, study timelines, charge segregation, and other documentation related to clinical research studies.

• Provide support for industry-sponsored, federally funded, and locally investigator-led research initiatives.

• Assist in the evaluation and feedback of projects handled by Clinical Research Administrative Specialist I.

• Start engaging with client contacts to address specific client needs.

• Enhance understanding and experience with regulations governing clinical trials.

• Cultivate skills across various service lines offered by Huron’s Research Office.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. work authorization is mandatory.

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required by Huron.

• At least 3 years of experience in clinical research administration is necessary.

• Proficient in developing clinical research budgets.

• Experience in conducting coverage analysis is essential.

• Familiarity with clinical trial policies and relevant research billing regulations is required.

• Ability to apply policy to clinical trial protocols for coverage assessments.

• Experience in performing Quality Assurance reviews.

• Background in medical coding or billing, or a degree in Health Information Management.

• Proven experience in interacting with individuals across various organizational levels and providing prompt updates.

• Capacity to contribute to creative solutions and process enhancements.

• Experience in mentoring and training junior staff members.

• Awareness of industry trends and changes in regulations.
