This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist the Government in implementing and enhancing the requirements management process.

• Provide support in requirements engineering and business process analysis.

• Evaluate requirements processes, artifacts, and decision pathways for thoroughness, consistency, usability, traceability, and alignment with mission objectives.

• Assess current and future-state capability gaps, enterprise tracking, governance, and requirements documentation processes.

• Suggest actionable process enhancements.

• Aid in enterprise gap intake, tracking, prioritization, and routing processes.

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, working sessions, demonstrations, and feedback gatherings.

• Create and maintain workflow maps, standard operating procedures, user stories, technical documentation, briefing materials, training resources, and other process artifacts.

• Record governance roles, responsibilities, review pathways, action items, decisions, and changes in processes.

• Support the definition of future-state automation, collaboration tools, dashboards, reporting, data structures, and workflow capabilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Active Top Secret or CBP Background Investigation, or the capability to obtain and sustain the required Government clearance.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory for securing and maintaining a U.S. security clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, information systems, public administration, political science, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in supporting DHS or another federal Government client.

• Proficiency in requirements gathering, business process analysis, user-story development, solution design, or Agile delivery.

• Experience in facilitating stakeholder engagements and converting business requirements into clear documentation, requirements, or workflow enhancements.

• Background in developing briefings, standard operating procedures, user guides, training materials, or technical documentation.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, or comparable collaboration and workflow tools.

• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Proven initiative, good judgment, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple tasks.
