Reporter – Michelle Lang Fellowship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create original and authoritative content centered on the state of health care in Canada.

• Collaborate with a national editor and regional journalists.

• Address health-related subjects that have been overlooked or underreported.

• Employ a variety of journalistic techniques, from quick turnaround reporting to in-depth investigations.

• Foster creativity in storytelling and comprehensive reporting throughout the year.

• Partner with some of the finest editors in Canada.

• A dedication to journalism and a passion for storytelling in all its forms.

• Excellent writing and communication abilities.

• An innate curiosity and a commitment to making a difference through journalism.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues.

• Basic reporting competencies.

• Bilingualism in French or other languages is considered a plus.

• Previous experience in a daily newspaper is advantageous but not required.

• Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license.
