Reinsurance Claims Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Oversee quota share and mid-complexity assumed reinsurance claims across various disciplines and regions.

• Take full responsibility for claims from evaluation to resolution.

• Review treaties and facultative certificates.

• Establish reserves.

• Negotiate settlements.

• Manage disputed issues.

• Supervise cedent relationships.

• Conduct claims audits.

• Identify opportunities for savings.

• Assist with due diligence for new acquisitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Authorization to work in this location.

• More than 5 years of experience in managing assumed claims and coverage matters.

• Extensive experience with quota share.

• Proficient in interpreting complex treaty programs and facultative certificates.

• Technical expertise in long-tail claims, preferably including asbestos, pollution, or abuse.

• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and written communication abilities.

• Capability to prioritize and work autonomously in a remote setting.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
