Reimbursement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Track daily deposits, retrieve missing EOBs, upload them into Fuse, manually align ERA/deposits in Fuse, and reconcile daily deposits using Remit Assist.

• Examine, investigate, and resolve issues concerning missing payments, EOBs, and posting discrepancies within the Raintree system.

• Assist in the month-end reconciliation process.

• Ensure accurate and timely posting of payments.

• Manage payment posting in Raintree and designated legacy systems, which includes remittance/automated posting, manual posting, refunds, and corrections.

• Recognize and promptly escalate issues to management.

• Complete various ad hoc projects, reporting, and analytical tasks.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in healthcare payment posting, ideally in Physical Therapy or a comparable specialty.

• Proficient in Excel and adept at problem-solving.

• Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Excel and Microsoft Office.

• High degree of accuracy and effectiveness in job responsibilities.

• Capable of reading and interpreting Explanations of Benefits.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and multitask effectively.

• Able to work collaboratively as a team member and independently.

• Experience with Raintree EMR is preferred.

• Open availability from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm ET.
