Reimbursement Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Generate reports utilizing both internal and external databases alongside common programming languages.

• Design pricing models for network negotiations and fee schedule updates that are applied for claims adjudication.

• Integrate pricing data into the PREMIER Pricer system.

• Authenticate and investigate report outcomes using original operating systems and reporting databases.

• Deliver reports to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Address any follow-up inquiries.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Computer Science with three years of experience in data analysis and reimbursement, OR seven years of experience encompassing data analysis, reimbursement analysis/modeling, and relevant college courses.

• Familiarity and basic understanding of reimbursement strategies and financial modeling.

• Experience with healthcare data.

• Knowledge of Medicare pricing systems (RBRVS, DRG, ASC).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.

• Proficient analytical skills.

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.

• Proficiency in PC applications, including MS Office or other spreadsheet and word processing software for Windows.

• Preferred: a technical background in BASIC programming languages.

• Preferred: over one year of experience with FACETS or similar reimbursement systems.

• Preferred: over one year of experience related to provider contracts, including operations, fee schedules, rate sheets, and contract lifecycle support.

• Preferred: over one year of experience in healthcare claims adjudication.
