Registered Nurse, Primary Care, Telephone Triage Per Diem

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver primary care telephone triage as a seasoned Registered Nurse.

• Offer per diem coverage on an as-needed basis.

• Work remotely from the comfort of your home.

• Initiate and uphold communication with the Manager and fellow colleagues regarding critical issues.

• Foster effective working relationships with UBCP colleagues and others involved in fulfilling responsibilities.

• Honor cultural diversity, ensure safety and security of physical environments, promote teamwork, and respect others.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the State of California.

• Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience as a telephone triage Registered Nurse, or as a Registered Nurse in primary care, pediatric unit, emergency department, adult or pediatric urgent care, or nursing case management.

• Familiarity with Schmidt-Thompson protocols is an advantage.

• Strong computer skills.

• Access to high-speed internet.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to establish and maintain polite and cooperative relationships with patients, customers, and co-workers.

• Willingness to work with patients of varying ages and needs.

• Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute.

• Approved typing certificate obtained within the last 6 months demonstrating at least 45 net words per minute.

• Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
