Registered Nurse – Emergency Services, In House Registry, Rotating

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care for patients in acute conditions.

• Assess, plan, intervene, implement, and evaluate patient care utilizing the nursing process.

• Gather and analyze data to identify anticipated outcomes.

• Create and execute personalized care plans.

• Direct care and ascertain the appropriate use of assistants involved in direct patient care.

• Collaborate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff.

• Document care plans, communications, nursing interventions, and patient responses in the health record.

• Tailor care plans based on evaluation findings.

• Utilize evidence and research findings to inform practice decisions.

• Engage in shared governance, committee activities, and unit projects.

• Uphold ANA standards of professional nursing practice while adhering to organizational, regulatory, and accreditation standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a commitment to obtain a BSN from an accredited program within three years of starting in a clinical nurse role.

• Registered Professional Nurse licensure for the state where the employee is working.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

• For Emergency Room positions: ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and TNCC must be obtained within one year of hire.

• For Pediatric Emergency Room positions: Pediatric Advanced Life Support and TNCC must be acquired within one year of hire.

• For Non-Invasive Cardiology roles: ACLS certification is required.

• Preferred prior experience in the specific clinical specialty.

• Strong interpersonal skills are essential.

• Ability to work collaboratively with others.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Travel is required within the designated geographic area.

• A valid driver's license and an annual driving abstract are necessary for Hospital at Home & Home Health roles.
