Registered Nurse – Cardiac Device

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, coordinate, plan, implement, and assess care for patients with implanted cardiac devices.

• Manage interrogation, programming, and triage of implanted-device data from both in-clinic visits and remote transmissions.

• Conduct interrogations of implanted devices and monitor/document patient reactions to therapy or adjustments.

• Adjust programming in accordance with physician directives.

• Address and prioritize remote transmissions while notifying management, including troubleshooting device issues.

• Oversee all components of the Device Clinic Database.

• Educate patients about their devices and respond to device-related inquiries from patients, providers, and vendors.

• Pursue ongoing education in implantable-device procedures and technology.

• Collaborate with compliance on action plans for device recalls and advisories.

• Provide education to patients, providers, and clinical staff regarding device utility, functionality, data, and arrhythmia management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active RN License in the state of practice.

• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

• Certification specific to practice as required by the clinical environment (e.g., ACLS, PALS).

• Prior experience in Cardiology; including ECG, Tele Unit, CV ICU, Cath Lab, or CV roles in the industry.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven proficiency with computer applications.

• Demonstrated capability to organize tasks, multitask, and follow through on details.

• Experience working as an RN.

• Previous experience in arrhythmia management and with implanted cardiac devices.

• IBHRE (International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners) certification.

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (preferred).
