Registered Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Evaluate OASIS assessments for completeness, suitability, and adherence to federal and state regulations.

• Ensure precise ICD-10 coding and sequencing in accordance with each patient’s medical conditions and co-morbidities.

• Collaborate with clinical staff to address documentation and data integrity concerns.

• Monitor visit utilization and identify potential financial risks or instances of underutilization for clinical management attention.

• Recognize and relay trends that influence agency outcomes and process measures.

• Conduct OASIS inter-rater reliability visits alongside clinical team members.

• Engage in Quality Improvement and Corporate Compliance initiatives.

• Keep abreast of best practices through continuous education and professional development.

• Perform additional duties as necessary for patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active RN license in California in good standing.

• 1–2 years of experience in clinical home health.

• Familiarity with OASIS assessments and ICD-10 coding.

• Understanding of federal regulations and state licensure requirements.

• Excellent communication skills with a strong attention to detail.

• Ability to operate independently and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.

• Proficient in computer systems and electronic health records.

• Current CPR certification from AHA.

• Valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle.

• OASIS certification (COS-C) is a plus.

• OASIS Home Health ICD-10 coding certification is also a plus.
