This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
• Evaluate intake assessments, medical histories, dietary practices, laboratory findings, and other pertinent data.
• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling as well as educational sessions through video conferencing.
• Provide guidance on general movement, sleep, or stress management related to nutritional care.
• Utilize Allara’s nutrition training and educational resources while customizing care to meet individual patient needs.
• Implement motivational interviewing and behavior-change strategies throughout the continuum of care.
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) and Medical Doctors (MDs) overseeing patients’ medical treatment.
• Keep precise and current patient records.
• Complete documentation and respond to patient inquiries.
• Address administrative responsibilities and messages promptly.
• Registered Dietitian with an active certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Possess at least one active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in a U.S. state.
• A minimum of one year of experience treating patients with complex women's health issues is highly preferred.
• Capability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic acumen and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrated with empathy and clarity.
• Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Dedication to evidence-based clinical practices.
• Proficient with EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.
• Previous telemedicine experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to provide two professional references from the last five years.
