Registered Dietitian, Obesity & Weight Management, PT/FT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough nutrition evaluations through virtual or telehealth appointments.

• Offer Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for obesity and associated chronic conditions.

• Create personalized nutrition care strategies.

• Provide nutrition education and counseling utilizing motivational interviewing and behavior-change methodologies.

• Enhance patient engagement through effective communication and escalate clinical issues as necessary.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, health coaches, and care coordinators.

• Engage in care planning and case review sessions as required.

• Record encounters, assessments, and care plans in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

• Utilize telehealth and patient engagement tools efficiently.

• Assist Medicare and Medicaid patients in achieving sustainable weight loss and better metabolic health through virtual care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid RD/RDN credential in good standing.

• Active LD/LDN or CD/CDN license in the state(s) of practice.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.

• Clinical or ambulatory experience in providing nutrition counseling or MNT (mandatory).

• Experience with obesity, weight management, chronic conditions, and telehealth (preferred).

• Strong skills in patient-centered counseling and documentation.

• Comfortable working within interdisciplinary teams.

• Familiarity with EHRs and telehealth platforms.

• Reliable internet connection.

• Private workspace compliant with HIPAA regulations.

• Capability to uphold licensure standards and ensure HIPAA compliance.
