Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Provide personalized perinatal and postpartum nutrition education through scheduled virtual consultations.

• Conduct virtual group sessions focused on perinatal and postpartum nutrition.

• Empower mothers with the knowledge necessary to navigate pregnancy and enhance health outcomes.

• Record all care interactions accurately and thoroughly.

• Comply with established policies and procedures to uphold high standards of member care.

• Report directly to the Director of Care Delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD).

• Credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• Current licensure to practice in Tennessee.

• Proven experience in providing medical nutrition therapy to perinatal and postpartum clients dealing with diabetes, hypertension, preeclampsia, insufficient weight gain, and anemia.

• Experience working with families eligible for Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC programs.

• Skilled in motivational interviewing techniques.

• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Reliable home internet access.

• Proficient in utilizing EHR and messaging platforms for documentation and communication.

• IBCLC certification with relevant experience in hospitals or outpatient settings (preferred, not mandatory).

• Familiarity with AthenaOne EHR (preferred, not mandatory).

• Spanish fluency (preferred, not mandatory).

• Experience in a start-up setting or a high level of adaptability to a rapidly changing organization (preferred, not mandatory).
