This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and nurture a high-performing direct sales team throughout the Western US.
• Establish performance benchmarks, offer feedback, and perform structured reviews of pipelines and deals.
• Foster talent development through mentoring, career progression planning, and recognition initiatives.
• Oversee the regional large account strategy for the West Coast and Mountain Time Zone.
• Engage with C-level executives and senior IT leadership to drive intricate, multi-stakeholder sales cycles to successful closure.
• Collaborate with Channel, Marketing, and Customer Success teams for synchronized account management and customer experience.
• Co-sell alongside channel partners, generate pipeline, and implement joint go-to-market strategies.
• Cultivate executive-level relationships with regional partners, VARs, and systems integrators.
• Define and implement the West regional go-to-market strategy, which includes territory priorities, quota distribution, verticals, and whitespace opportunities.
• Establish NetBrain's brand and visibility through strategic account engagement, regional events, and participation in industry communities.
• Work closely with East and Central VP peers and the CRO to gather market intelligence, develop national programs, and shape US sales strategy.
• Ensure forecast accuracy through diligent deal progression review, coverage ratios, and risk-adjusted commit calls to the CRO.
• Present business reviews that cover pipeline metrics, win/loss analysis, competitive trends, and investment recommendations.
• Manage the sales budget for the West region, including headcount planning, travel and event expenses, and partner program costs.
• Report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.
• A proven history of building and scaling Enterprise sales teams to achieve and surpass revenue objectives in large, complex account settings.
• Over 10 years of experience in Enterprise sales.
• More than 5 years in a leadership or management position within sales.
• Experience in leading a regional team focused on large accounts, ideally in roles such as VP, RVP, or similar.
• Extensive background in selling complex enterprise subscription software or SaaS solutions.
• Proven success in navigating multi-stakeholder procurement processes and closing deals in the six- to seven-figure range.
• Experience collaborating with or through channel partners and VARs to create and close enterprise pipeline opportunities.
• Preferred experience in the computer networking, network management, or enterprise IT infrastructure sectors.
• Manual dexterity for repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements while using a computer.
• Capability to sit for extended periods and maintain a stationary position.
