Regional Vice President – Oncology Sales

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Build and lead a high-performing team consisting of sales leadership and sales representatives.

β€’ Enhance laboratory sales revenue and profitability by penetrating the market and promoting Ambry's genetic diagnostic testing services and technology offerings.

β€’ Advocate for the clinical and financial advantages of products to MDs, nurses, genetic counselors, laboratory staff, hospitals, specialty clinics, and physician offices.

β€’ Develop and implement strategic plans aimed at achieving sales targets and expanding the customer base.

β€’ Recruit, develop, and retain talent for Account Executive and Area Director roles.

β€’ Create and execute effective team sales strategies.

β€’ Provide leadership through clear vision communication, active coaching, development, and necessary corrective actions.

β€’ Supervise through field visits and observational assessments.

β€’ Maintain competitive awareness and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

β€’ Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments.

β€’ Take ownership of accounts and successfully close deals.

β€’ Increase menu utilization within existing accounts.

β€’ Negotiate and manage contracts efficiently.

β€’ Develop and present engaging presentations.

β€’ Host and assist with trade shows.

β€’ Manage customer data using the company CRM system.

β€’ Assist in the development and leadership of company initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor of Science Degree or an equivalent qualification.

β€’ Over 5 years of leadership experience in laboratory services supporting clinicians and hospitals, or equivalent internal leadership experience within the organization.

β€’ Proven track record in building and leading teams of sales leadership and sales representatives.

β€’ Capacity to sell technically complex products.

β€’ Expertise in demand creation across a large geographical area.

β€’ Strong networking and relationship development skills.

β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

β€’ Effective time management skills.

β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com.

β€’ Willingness to travel nationally (50%+ travel required).

β€’ Must reside in North Central USA.
