Regional Supply Chain Manager – Fiberglass

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take charge of production scheduling, material planning, purchasing, inventory management, and order fulfillment across multiple fiberglass manufacturing sites.

• Implement production and material planning utilizing finite scheduling tools and MRP/ERP systems.

• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within ERP, Scheduler, Configurator, and other related systems.

• Oversee on-time delivery, lead times, and the accuracy of promised dates.

• Direct materials purchasing and manage supplier performance effectively.

• Collaborate with procurement to enhance supplier excellence and ensure timely performance.

• Address issues proactively to avoid stockouts and quality delays.

• Manage inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts, and develop replenishment strategies, including Kanban levels and safety stocks.

• Optimize total costs to meet customer demands, working together with sales, product management, operations, procurement, and other stakeholders.

• Assist with seasonal stocking, replenishment strategies, and freight optimization.

• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Product Management, and Customer Service teams.

• Support product launches, promotional activities, and growth opportunities.

• Create plans for New Product Introductions (NPI), part transitions, value engineering, and other initiatives.

• Promote process standardization, system adoption, continuous improvement, planning accuracy, execution discipline, and supply chain visibility.

• Develop, implement, and enhance finite scheduling processes.

• Lead weekly S&OE meetings and assist with monthly SIOP, ensuring alignment of demand, supply, capacity, inventory, and service objectives.

• Contribute to executive SIOP discussions and drive initiatives to achieve cost and sales targets.

• Identify supply risks, capacity limitations, and execution gaps, and facilitate mitigation strategies.

• Build, lead, and nurture a new multi-site supply chain team.

• Support and influence cross-functional partners.

• Willingness to travel up to approximately 35% of the time.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Supply Chain.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling within a multi-site manufacturing environment.

• Proven experience in building and leading teams across various locations.

• Comprehensive understanding of production planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, and shipping and receiving processes.

• APICS certification preferred.

• Experience with ERP systems, including a strong grasp of finite scheduling processes, operations, and master data.

• Strong leadership abilities and the capability to influence cross-functional teams.

• Effective communication skills with site and business leadership, including remote leadership.

• Demonstrated proficiency in S&OE, SIOP, capacity planning, and cross-functional decision-making within a manufacturing context.

• Ability to recruit and develop high-performing teams in a manufacturing setting.

• Familiarity with logistics processes, continuous improvement methodologies, and Lean principles.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• High proficiency in utilizing technology and digital solutions.

• Drug screening, background check, and E-Verify are required.
