Manager, Supply Chain Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of Supply Chain Planning Specialists (Material Program Managers) directly.

• Formulate strategies for Munitions Acceleration initiatives and long-term supplier agreements.

• Organize and carry out material services for a range of programs.

• Act as the primary contact for the Program Management Office (PMO) regarding the supply chain.

• Collaborate across various functions to ensure that supply chain obligations are fulfilled.

• Create and implement mitigation strategies for supplier-related program risks.

• Direct the execution of supply chain programs.

• Oversee resource planning, material and subcontract costs, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and resolution of supply chain issues.

• Provide briefings to the PMO and plant management on factors impacting program cost and schedule performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or management discipline with 20 years of experience in the defense sector.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and MS Office applications.

• Must be eligible to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• Preferred: Experience as an Operating Unit lead within Global Supply Chain (GSC), focusing on forecasting, planning, and execution.

• Preferred: Supply Chain experience in the electronics industry.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Earned Value Management System requirements.

• Preferred: Experience with proposals that include NAR/ICE requirements.

• Preferred: Skilled in employing highly analytical methods for problem-solving.

• Preferred: Capability to manage an organized workload with meticulous attention to detail.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
