Regional Service Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee a technical service team that delivers professional and technical support for Clinical Lab and Transfusion Medicine product sales.

• Engage directly with customers to assess their satisfaction with field performance and enhance customer relationships.

• Organize and relay field issues to customers, ensuring that feedback is addressed and communicated to the relevant divisions.

• Collaborate with local Sales management to align Ortho Care functions with Regional Sales objectives.

• Evaluate and communicate local initiatives that support regional sales targets, customer retention, and foster teamwork between Sales and Ortho Care.

• Supervise approximately 10+ Field Engineers and Senior Field Engineers, including providing performance feedback and ensuring compliance with company and safety policies.

• Recruit, train, and mentor new hires within the region.

• Coordinate resources for service, routine maintenance, modifications, implementations, and equipment training.

• Partner with Area Sales Directors to retain and expand business and devise strategies to meet or surpass objectives.

• Plan and implement regional initiatives that align with divisional and company goals.

• Collaborate with Learning & Development to enhance productivity, cultivate team talent, and support organizational talent sharing.

• Carry out other related duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in Business Management, Science, or Engineering, or a comparable 10 years of field service experience.

• Over 10 years of direct experience in a field setting, providing support for hardware, software, and/or applications at client locations.

• Demonstrated success in organizational development and field service management.

• Exceptional people management and development skills.

• Experience in Marketing, Service Planning and Administration, Product Management, or other relevant fields.

• Advanced skills in listening, verbal, and written communication.

• Must remain accessible at all times to customers, direct reports, management, and related workgroups via phone and email.

• Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time, including weekends/nights, by plane and car.

• This role is not currently eligible for visa sponsorship.

• Must possess a valid driver's license.

• Capability to maintain a vehicle suitable for travel to customer sites and airports.

• Ability to work independently in a home office setting.

• Must be physically capable of traveling up to 75% of the time.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
