This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive overall sales for designated product segments and SKUs within a specific territory.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with distribution partners and end users.
• Implement strategic growth initiatives while ensuring adherence to administrative and reporting standards.
• Act as a technical resource for customers, assisting in the identification and implementation of product and application solutions.
• Create and support new applications, products, and business opportunities based on customer and market demands.
• Address product, application, and process issues, providing practical recommendations for solutions.
• Carry out customer trials, product evaluations, and technical demonstrations; assess results and offer recommendations.
• Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Operations, Quality, and other departments to resolve customer issues and capitalize on market opportunities.
• Foster customer relationships and deliver technical guidance throughout the sales and application development phases.
• Convey complex technical information through customer presentations, reports, and technical documents.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance product performance, broaden existing applications, and explore new markets.
• Lead or assist in strategic initiatives that enhance the business and increase customer value.
• Manage various customer projects and priorities while maintaining a sense of urgency and accountability.
• Travel 50–60% to customer locations, company facilities, industry events, and other sites as necessary, including overnight stays.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, technical service, product development, process engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical position.
• Proven sales experience in the chemical, specialty chemical, materials, or related industrial sectors.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the capability to identify opportunities, build consensus, and lead strategic initiatives.
• Strong technical, analytical, strategic problem-solving, and business acumen.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficient in translating customer needs and technical challenges into actionable business solutions.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, R&D, Operations, Quality, and other departments.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills, with the capacity to work independently and juggle multiple priorities.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Demonstrated ownership, initiative, accountability, and the ability to deliver results in a dynamic environment.
