This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +10 more states.
• Formulate and execute regional sales strategies that align with organizational objectives.
• Participate in the annual quota determination, territory organization, and identification of key target accounts.
• Mentor and guide sales representatives through training, coaching, and strategic direction.
• Oversee sales operations within assigned product categories.
• Develop and maintain connections with distributors, engineers, contractors, sales representatives, and internal team members.
• Evaluate customer segments, competitive landscape, pricing strategies, and growth opportunities for each product line.
• Monitor and report on market dynamics, vertical applications, and competitive positioning.
• Create and manage project pipelines with specific funnel owners.
• Facilitate bi-weekly funnel update meetings and coordinate sales forecasting with sales representatives.
• Work collaboratively with representatives to establish annual objectives, create account ownership strategies, and develop growth plans.
• Set regional objectives for distributors, engineers, and contractors based on product lines.
• Assess performance relative to targets and identify trends in funnel and forecast activities.
• Ensure regular updates on sales activities, customer engagements, and project management through DCRM.
• Deliver weekly 7&7 updates, bi-weekly funnel assessments, monthly territory performance analyses, and annual strategic planning.
• Support the development of root cause countermeasures in areas requiring improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 years of B2B sales experience with progressive leadership roles in regional or territory management within the plumbing or drainage sector.
• Proven track record of surpassing sales targets and managing extensive geographic territories.
• Experience collaborating with plumbing engineers, contractors, and manufacturer sales representatives.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, with a knack for educating and influencing stakeholders.
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and adept at managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% to connect with customers, representatives, and industry partners.
• Expertise in strategic sales planning and quota management.
• Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Proficient in relationship-building with representatives, contractors, and distributors.
• Financial knowledge in budget forecasting and variance analysis.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and reporting tools.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
