This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive sales growth for the designated Code 3 product line and territory.
• Identify new account opportunities and create tailored product packages that align with customer requirements.
• Oversee customer accounts while keeping an eye on market trends and competitors.
• Professionally represent Code 3 to foster sales expansion and maintain a positive reputation within the territory.
• Engage with current and prospective customers to promote and sell Code 3 products and services.
• Propel ongoing sales growth and meet anticipated territory profit margins.
• Act as the company's representative during customer visits, trade shows, seminars, community gatherings, and business meetings.
• Collaborate with customers' corporate management and field staff.
• Coordinate the input and processing of purchase orders alongside customer service and operations.
• Manage customer bids and special pricing, including the negotiation and approval processes.
• Provide continuous training for distributors' sales teams.
• Cultivate an understanding of end users and distribution channels within the territory.
• Supervise test-and-evaluation initiatives with major accounts.
• Offer current product pricing, operational guidance, and training on new products.
• Complete monthly reports on territory status, detailing successes, challenges, requirements, and other assigned areas.
• Engage in budget creation activities.
• Regularly update the customer database.
• Execute other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in sales.
• Experience with wholesale distribution, key accounts, and manufacturer representative agencies.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and maintaining customer contact and opportunity data for forecasting purposes.
• Ability to establish strong business relationships with individuals at all levels across diverse professional and cultural backgrounds.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication as well as collaboration skills.
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational capabilities.
• Strong ethics and integrity.
• Self-motivated and able to pursue new sales opportunities with minimal supervision.
• Competency with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Willingness to continually enhance product knowledge and skillset.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Capability to talk, hear, see, read, stand, walk, and use hands for essential job functions.
