This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Professionally represent the Code 3 product line to foster sales growth and enhance the company's reputation in the territory.
• Engage with both existing and prospective customers to promote and sell Code 3 products and/or services.
• Drive ongoing sales growth and achieve targeted margins for the designated territory.
• Act as the company's representative during customer visits, trade shows, seminars, and community or business meetings.
• Collaborate with customers' corporate management and field personnel.
• Ensure accurate purchase-order input and processing in coordination with customer service and operations.
• Manage customer bids and special pricing negotiations, including obtaining necessary approvals.
• Conduct continuous training for the sales personnel of distributors.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of end users and distribution channels within the assigned territory.
• Supervise test-and-evaluation programs with key accounts.
• Provide current product pricing, operational information, and training on new products.
• Complete monthly reports on territory status, highlighting successes, challenges, needs, and other pertinent areas.
• Participate in the budgeting process.
• Regularly update the customer database.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, business, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sales.
• Experience in working with wholesale distribution, key accounts, and manufacturers' representative agencies.
• Ability to cultivate strong business relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally, and from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds.
• Experience with CRM systems and maintaining current customer contact and opportunity information for production forecasting.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication and collaboration skills; capable of participating in and facilitating group meetings.
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational abilities.
• Strong ethics and integrity.
• Self-motivated and able to independently pursue new sales opportunities and expand the sales territory with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
• Competent in using computers and familiar with Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Willingness to continuously enhance product knowledge and skill set.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Capability to talk, hear, see, read, stand, walk, and use hands/tools as needed to perform essential functions.
