This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Achieve or surpass company sales targets across Manhattan, the Bronx, Westchester County, Northern New Jersey, and the wider designated area.
• Develop and uphold account and territory strategies to set and meet sales goals.
• Build customer-focused relationships with physicians and healthcare stakeholders.
• Strive for ongoing enhancement in performance orientation, product approval procedures, territory expansion, and clinical expertise.
• Offer practices and innovative ideas to colleagues.
• Utilize computer-based customer/account management tools to monitor contacts, activities, and follow-ups.
• Submit timely activity reports and conduct monthly/quarterly business evaluations.
• Support trade show displays and participate in periodic company-sponsored sales gatherings.
• Collaborate with surgeons to enhance visibility through SPR presentations at Grand Rounds, journal clubs, and poster displays.
• Identify cases for case studies, white papers, and additions to the video library.
• Manage and streamline hospital product approval processes.
• Detect additional target hospitals and physicians within the designated area.
• Aid in training surgeons and hospital personnel.
• Engage in assigned project team initiatives.
• Over 3 years of sales experience, ideally in orthopedic or medical device sales.
• At least a Bachelor’s degree; a related field is preferred.
• Capability to "concept" sell innovative products.
• Proven success in a start-up setting and/or launching new products.
• Proficiency in customer and account profiling.
• Demonstrated history of consistently surpassing sales goals and leading team leaderboards.
• Professional references illustrating the respect from former supervisors and top-tier clients.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, high initiative, and self-directed approach.
• Essential customer service skills and experience.
• Strong self-motivator and effective team contributor with consensus-building abilities.
• Capacity to assess communication/advertising materials and provide recommendations.
• Experience in developing and executing tools to gather feedback on business requirements and enhancements.
• Ability to effectively communicate customer needs within the organization.
• Ability to foresee the timing and necessity for new promotional materials.
• Proficient in working effectively via phone and email.
• Comfortable in a start-up atmosphere and open to transitioning into a larger structured organization.
• Capability to efficiently operate in a virtual environment, whether at home or in a centrally located office.
• Flexibility in working hours based on project and/or customer requirements.
• Extensive daytime travel required, with occasional overnight and weekend travel.
• Must meet RepTrax and similar third-party accreditation requirements for access to target accounts.
