This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Promote Dealer.com offerings to franchise car dealerships.
• Drive and enhance sales revenue while expanding the customer base in the assigned territory.
• Provide innovative solutions and insights regarding Dealer.com products and the business challenges faced by dealers.
• Emphasize the value of current Dealer.com and Cox Automotive products.
• Act as the main point of contact for Dealer.com.
• Cultivate, strengthen, and maintain relationships with assigned dealers.
• Oversee and finalize complex sales opportunities using the Cox Auto selling methodology.
• Employ consultative selling techniques to guide clients on industry trends, strategies, and challenges.
• Achieve consensus for Cox Automotive Retail Solutions products among client stakeholders.
• Strategize both independently and collaboratively to address deal-level obstacles.
• Discuss, present, and showcase the benefits of Dealer.com solutions.
• Achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
• Fill open or existing territories as required.
• Build relationships with new and existing dealers.
• Establish trusted connections with Dealer Principals, Controllers, and General Managers.
• Travel frequently within the designated sales territory, 70% or more.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 6 years of experience in a related area; alternatives include a master's degree with 4 years of experience, a Ph.D. with 1 year of experience, or 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• 5+ years of experience in software, advertising, or automotive software sales, including comparable dealership software and finance software.
• Strong understanding of the automotive industry, particularly automotive dealerships and the F&I process.
• Superior interpersonal, presentation, relationship-building, collaboration, sales, and territory management skills.
• Capability to utilize and interpret research and data.
• Skills in database management and customer service.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Self-motivated and disciplined, with a vibrant and engaging personality.
• Willingness to travel up to 60–75% within the assigned territory.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
• No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship available now or in the future.
• Annual incentive/commission target of $85,000.00.
