This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Take ownership of sales for VinSolutions products targeted at franchise car dealerships.
• Drive and optimize sales revenue while expanding the customer base within the designated territory.
• Provide innovative solutions that align with the business objectives of dealers.
• Share insights on VinSolutions products with internal partners concerning dealer business challenges.
• Emphasize the value of VinSolutions and Cox Automotive products.
• Act as the main point of contact for VinSolutions.
• Establish, strengthen, and continually nurture relationships with dealers.
• Employ Challenger-based and consultative selling techniques to navigate and close complex sales opportunities.
• Offer clients feedback regarding industry trends, strategies, and challenges.
• Achieve consensus among client stakeholders for Cox Automotive Retail Solutions products.
• Independently and collaboratively strategize to address deal-level challenges.
• Present and demonstrate the advantages of VinSolutions solutions.
• Achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
• Fill open or existing territories as required.
• Cultivate relationships with both new and existing dealers.
• Foster trusted connections with Dealer Principals, Controllers, and General Managers.
• Travel frequently across the assigned sales territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 6 years of related experience; alternative qualifications include a master’s degree and 4 years of experience, a Ph.D. with 1 year of experience, or 10 years of relevant experience.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in Retail Solutions (VinSolutions, DDC, Xtime, DMS, F&I, Auto Trader, KBB, or vAuto) as an IRSM or RSM.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory.
• Over 5 years of expertise in automotive software, advertising, or automotive software sales, encompassing similar dealership and finance software packages.
• In-depth understanding of the automotive industry, particularly automotive dealerships and Fixed Ops processes.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, relationship-building, collaboration, sales, and territory management abilities.
• Proficient in utilizing and interpreting research and data.
• Skills in database management and customer service.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking capabilities.
• Self-driven and disciplined with an energetic and engaging demeanor.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship; no OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship.
• Annual incentive/commission target of $85,000.00.
