This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Lead and motivate a team of Account Specialists engaging Pulmonologists, Allergists, and ENTs to advocate for the product in line with strategic objectives.
• Execute responsibilities in alignment with the GSK Leading Ways competency framework.
• Formulate business plans and execute regional, sector, and national strategies to achieve objectives.
• Provide training, coaching, and professional development to Account Specialists.
• Organize and facilitate sales meetings to educate, train, and inspire representatives.
• Recruit, hire, and retain qualified candidates for Account Specialist positions.
• Fulfill necessary administrative responsibilities.
• Participate in local, regional, sector, and national meetings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and matrix partners to achieve common goals.
• Cultivate a performance-driven culture and embody GSK expectations.
• Adhere to GSK policies, practices, risk-based standards, and core values.
• Primarily operate in the field within the assigned territory, with regular travel anticipated both within and occasionally outside the territory.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Willingness to travel domestically as needed, including overnight travel up to 25%.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be capable and willing to drive or operate a vehicle; driving is a core function of the role.
• Account Manager (grade 6): 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Account Manager (grade 5): 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Preferred: Master of Business Administration and/or an advanced clinical/science degree or equivalent.
• Preferred: Military experience.
• Preferred: Strong communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.
• Preferred: Proven teamwork and leadership skills.
• Preferred: At least 6 years of specialty management experience or relevant experience at headquarters.
• Preferred: Expertise in account-based and buy-and-bill sales and/or Specialty Pharmacy distribution methods; 3+ years preferred.
• Preferred: Experience working with Payer Reimbursement Managers.
• Preferred: Sales experience in Biologics, Rare Disease, or Respiratory fields.
• Complete all required training, testing, and product certifications within specified timeframes.
