Regional Property Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise the operations of several affordable apartment communities within a designated portfolio.

• Offer leadership, direction, and accountability to Community Managers and on-site teams.

• Recruit, hire, retain, mentor, and provide support to team members.

• Facilitate regular meetings for the portfolio.

• Collaborate with Community Managers on cost-effective operations and annual operating budgets.

• Monitor financial performance and variance reports on a monthly basis.

• Implement strategies for occupancy and rental rates in accordance with program guidelines.

• Ensure properties adhere to quality standards and long-term asset viability.

• Perform regular community inspections, including monthly and bi-annual safety assessments.

• Oversee preventive maintenance initiatives.

• Collaborate with Asset Management on vendor contracts, capital projects, insurance claims, and significant repairs.

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local affordable housing regulations.

• Manage preparation for agency inspections and maintain continuous compliance readiness.

• Foster relationships with community organizations, local officials, and public safety partners.

• Represent ALCO within professional organizations related to affordable housing and property management.

• Execute additional responsibilities that support the portfolio and company objectives.

• In-depth knowledge of affordable housing programs and compliance requirements.

• Proven expertise in financial management and budgeting.

• Established leadership experience overseeing multi-site teams.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned portfolio.

• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
