This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the representative of Slate to Delivery Partners.
• Serve as the primary contact between Delivery Partners and Slate’s internal cross-functional teams.
• Assist in resolving vehicle and delivery challenges while driving decision-making to enhance delivery efficiency.
• Develop and track performance metrics for Delivery Partners.
• Proactively address issues to optimize operations and achieve cost-effective solutions.
• Validate and approve monthly invoices from Delivery Partners against internal records.
• Monitor actual monthly costs against the plan and propose process improvements to minimize expenses.
• Implement and carry out vehicle and material inventory reporting and cycle counting alongside Delivery Partners.
• Aid Delivery Partners in necessary vehicle repairs prior to customer delivery.
• Oversee all facets of Slate’s relationships with Delivery Partners.
• Collaborate with Fulfillment, Logistics, Service, Accessories, and other internal teams.
• Propel process and system enhancements to meet customer expectations.
• Support the onboarding, performance management, and ongoing assistance of Delivery Partners involved in transporting, inspecting, preparing, and delivering vehicles.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
• Practical experience and a proven history of success may compensate for a degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in vehicle delivery and/or automotive distribution, ideally with direct engagement with OEMs or Dealers.
• Demonstrated success in managing relationships with third-party service providers.
• Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in start-up environments.
• Familiarity with warehousing practices, material management, business planning, and financial implications.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with external partners and internal teams.
• Capacity to effectively represent and promote the Slate brand.
• Experience with ERP systems and Project Management tools is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods.
• Must possess authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
