This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Engage in scientific dialogue and research support with leading external scientists and investigators in the field of Pulmonary Hypertension.
• Provide objective and factual scientific information regarding non-product areas, company offerings, and company data.
• Develop and nurture peer-level relationships with scientific leaders and investigators at national, regional, and clinical practice levels.
• Initiate proactive scientific discussions concerning disease states, diagnosis, epidemiology, unmet medical needs, and population health.
• Facilitate the exchange of scientific information and deliver actionable insights to Research & Development and Human Health strategies.
• Relay stakeholder opinions, insights, and feedback to the Medical Affairs headquarters teams.
• Represent Research & Development at scientific conferences and congresses; take part in debriefs, insight discussions, and post-congress reporting.
• Act as the primary liaison to investigators for company-sponsored trials and Investigator Study Programs.
• Identify potential investigators for Phase II-IV clinical development programs and support sponsored trials.
• Provide comprehensive scientific support to Health Systems Teams.
• Stay current in disease and therapeutic area expertise by attending conferences, workshops, and reviewing journals.
• Adhere to company policies, relevant laws, regulations, ethical standards, field SOPs, GCP guidelines, and GMSA strategy.
• M.D., Ph.D., Pharm.D., or relevant APP credential in the Pulmonary Hypertension domain.
• A minimum of three years' experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
• Three years of clinical and/or research experience beyond the terminal degree program in Cardiovascular & Pulmonary therapeutic areas, or five years of Medical Scientific Liaison experience in relevant therapeutic areas.
• Proven scientific excellence in the pertinent therapeutic areas.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, networking, and presentation abilities.
• Extensive therapeutic knowledge in Cardiovascular & Pulmonary/translational science fields.
• Capability to network and collaborate with scientific leaders, investigators, clinical practice leaders, academic institutions, and members of treatment guidelines.
• Familiarity with national and society treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations, OIG, HIPAA, and relevant ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to aggregate and comprehend complex data sets, perform data analyses, summarize or synthesize findings, and objectively interpret results.
• Aptitude for organizing, prioritizing, and working efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Candidates must reside within the designated Southwest territory: Arizona, Nevada, Utah, or New Mexico.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
