This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Develop the teacher training program centered on the Model of Learning (MOL).
• Create adaptable toolkits for schools, playbooks for staff and administrators, and materials for families.
• Manage the MOL as a product by formulating hypotheses, testing them in real classrooms, and refining based on insights.
• Prioritize immediate versus later developments while ensuring lean execution and maintaining high quality.
• Collaborate closely with partner schools in Nepal during the onboarding process starting in 2027.
• Define the stable initial phase and establish a template for future school implementations.
• Identify the necessary team structure and sequencing for hiring.
• Set and uphold model standards as authority transitions from the founders.
• Transform Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche’s sessions into reusable training resources.
• Collaborate with the Nepal research lab to translate research findings into product and training strategies.
• Coordinate with local teams regarding in-country adaptations and community engagement.
• Oversee the quality of final materials produced by instructional, visual, and media designers.
• Profound pedagogical expertise and a solid understanding of how both children and adults learn.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering programs, curricula, or training utilized by actual teachers.
• Authentic, lived contemplative experience; familiarity with Tergar’s lineage is not necessary.
• Proficiency in lean product design, encompassing strategic experiments, problem/solution fit, product/market fit, and validated learning.
• Significant background in education as a teacher, school leader, curriculum developer, or learning designer.
• Experience in building tangible products and delivering them to users with limited resources or staff.
• Some experience in directing, mentoring, or establishing a team from the ground up.
• Ability to work directly from a founder’s evolving vision.
• Genuine curiosity about and respect for diverse traditions that may differ from one’s own.
• Comfort in navigating ambiguity and adapting to changing requirements.
