Regional Market Access Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and continuously enhance regional field access strategies tailored for specific regions, stakeholder groups, and cross-portfolio access topics.

• Evaluate regional healthcare policies, regulatory frameworks, and economic conditions.

• Extract management-relevant insights concerning access, reimbursement, healthcare delivery, and commercial priorities.

• Strategically cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and institutions relevant to access within the German healthcare system.

• Formulate, prioritize, and supervise regional field access strategies and plans in collaboration with Access & Value, Commercial, Medical, Policy, and Sales teams.

• Effectively manage interactions with regional decision-makers and institutions, including the preparation, execution, and follow-up of meetings.

• Design, manage, and execute complex projects, collaborations, and initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery, market access, and reimbursement conditions.

• Oversee all contracts within the designated area, including performance analysis, opportunity and risk assessments, and action recommendations.

• Prepare business cases based on contracts, market conditions, healthcare delivery, and performance data, including scenario analyses and financial evaluations.

• Offer subject-matter expertise within cross-functional project teams and actively manage regional interfaces.

• Create audience-appropriate information and materials related to reimbursement and healthcare delivery topics.

• Analyze competitor activities and market trends, providing strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders.

• Contribute to the operating plan and budgeting process by conducting regional assessments, establishing project priorities, and providing business case inputs.

• Utilize AI tools in alignment with Pfizer’s defined AI fluency standards to enhance decision-making and productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, health economics, natural sciences, pharmacy, or a related field.

• Qualification in accordance with Section 75 of the German Medicines Act (AMG) is preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of the German healthcare system, specifically related to reimbursement, healthcare delivery, regional decision-making structures, and relevant stakeholders.

• Strong grasp of healthcare policy and economic conditions and their impacts on business and market access strategies.

• Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

• High level of initiative and a solution-oriented mindset.

• Capability to independently translate complex issues into management-relevant recommendations, decision proposals, and implementation strategies.

• Outstanding communication, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills.

• Confident and professional demeanor while engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

• Experience in cross-functional projects and navigating complex matrix organizations.

• Team-oriented mindset coupled with a strong sense of integrity.

• Ability to represent Pfizer’s position responsibly, thoughtfully, and persuasively.

• Proficiency in German and excellent written and spoken English.
