This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +16 more states.
• Oversee sales representatives and guide sales operations through a complex medical device sales process.
• Achieve or surpass regional sales targets while maintaining profit margins.
• Expand ICU Medical’s Respiratory business with current clients and develop new customer relationships.
• Formulate and implement selling strategies and tactical action plans for strategic and key accounts.
• Build and manage an opportunity pipeline to meet annual top-line growth objectives.
• Ensure consistent sales reporting, contract management, quotations, communication and tracking, as well as project stage administration.
• Lead and nurture a high-performance sales team and oversee the performance metrics of direct reports.
• Design and track annual development plans for sales representatives.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, guidelines, operational rules, and budgets.
• Collaborate with Marketing on tactical and strategic initiatives, industry tradeshows, conferences, and field execution.
• Collect and report customer feedback on clinical, application, market, and competitor trends.
• Maintain relationships with key national and regional strategic clients.
• Manage special assignments as they arise.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• A minimum of 8 years of sales experience with a proven record of sales growth in the Respiratory product category.
• Demonstrated success in closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals in the U.S. Acute Care Hospital market.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing and developing high-performing sales teams at a regional level.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to create and implement business plans for strategic accounts.
• Proven capability to drive sales growth through process-oriented, data-driven continuous improvement tools and methods, including sales funnel process, gap analysis, and value selling.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Strong managerial, leadership, coaching, and talent development skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
